Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Ensure client safety by adhering to best practices and using equipment properly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a warm and caring atmosphere.
- Accurately document care activities and interactions, meeting AvantiCare’s standards.

Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Proof of healthcare certification and a clean criminal background check.
- Current TB screening.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid driver’s license.
